Review policy

Reviews are 30% of a guide’s score, which makes them worth gaming. This is how we make that hard, written out so both sides know the rules.

Who can review

Anyone with a payment record tying them to a completed booking on this platform. The window is 60 days after the hunt. One review per booking.

Verified and unverified

A verified review counts toward the score. An unverified one — imported from a guide’s website, submitted through a form, or attached to a trip paid off-platform — stays visible on the profile, carries an Unverified label, and scores nothing.

What a guide can do

Reply once, publicly. That is all. A guide cannot edit, delete, hide or reorder reviews, and a reply never changes the rating.

A reply that argues with the rating rather than answering the specifics tends to cost the guide more than the review did.
Asking a client to change or remove a review is grounds for suspension.

When we intervene

We remove a review for coordinated submission, for naming a private individual, or for content that is threatening. We do not remove one for being harsh, unfair-feeling, or bad for business.

What we publish

The number of reviews removed each season and the reason category. Nine were removed last season for coordinated submission across four operations.
